Pinot d’Alsace Metiss
   by
Domaine Bottgeyl

Semi-sweet White classified AOC and
produced in the Wine region of Alsace in France.

Grape type: See Review.

A wonderfully complex semi-sweet wine from the Alsace in an unusual style. Fully organic and made from 4 pinot grapes by a small family vineyard dating back to 1795. 35% Pinot Blanc, 35% Pinto Auxerrois, 15% Pinot Gris and 15% Pinto Noir.
A golden straw colour with a rich taste and a slightly dry finish, this is a very unique and lovely wine. If your tendency is towards slightly sweet wines like Vouvrey, you’ll really enjoy this one – very different to the usual Alsace wines.
