Don Amado
   by
Torreon de Paredes

Heavy and Huge Red classified D.O. Rengo and
produced in the Wine region of Valle del Cachapoal in Chile.

Grape type: Cabernet Sauvignon.

Sometimes I think we only see the ‘bottom end’ of wines from the New World here in the UK, their vineyards top wines don’t make it this far.
Don Amado is the top wine of the Torreon de Paredes winery in Chile, named after it’s founder. Very French in influence, it’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 5% Syrah, and 5% Cameniere from the vineyards best vines.
A deep deep colour with purple shades, if you like Heavy Bordeaux Reds, this will surprise you.
This is a lovely wine!
